•  Justice Sees Everyone Equally: In a significant shift marking India's break from its colonial history, the Supreme Court has introduced a redesigned 'Lady Justice' statue. The new statue features an unblindfolded figure and replaces the traditional sword with the Constitution. This initiative, led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, underscores the judiciary's dedication to equality under constitutional law. Installed in the judges' library of the Supreme Court, the statue represents the idea that Indian law recognizes everyone as equal rather than being blind to their identities.
